  2. Select ‘Advanced IMAP Settings’.
  3. The boxes corresponding to ‘Use TSL/SSL’ for incoming and outgoing email servers will have to be unchecked.
  4. You will see a drop-down arrow under ‘Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP)’ option, so click that arrow followed by selecting ‘Account’ option from the list.
  5. Select ‘EDIT SMTP server’ option now.
  6. Check if the box corresponding to the option ‘Allow Insecure Authentication’ is checked.
  7. Click ‘OK’ followed by clicking ‘Save’.
